Dreamin' of Spring

I'm still riffling through all the super fantastic look book photos, designing the layout and all that. Last night I was getting a little stain out of this dress (thank you Oxyclean!) and was thinking about how much I love this photo from the shoot. Dakota, one of our models, looked beautiful in it.

I love that this dress would be perfect for a romantic night out or even as a more casual wedding dress. I'll be adding this to the etsy shop and putting it in our physical shop in the next couple weeks.

Monday Monday

I hope you're having an absolutely fantastic Monday. We had a busy weekend at the shop and I have some restocking to do this week. I have just about a million mens size medium button-ups so those will be trickling in the shop over the next month in addition to a bunch of super cute dresses.



I'm working hard on lots of behind-the-scenes stuff right now too, including the epic Spring look book and re-opening our etsy shop. Both are coming soon, I promise!

I recently discovered Issuu, and I think I'm in love! What a clever way to display photo series. We'll definitely be using it for our upcoming Spring look book, but I thought it would be fun to put a few of our Valentines photos together, along with some of my favorite love quotes. I think it turned out pretty cute!

Look Book Spring Behind the Scenes

We've been working hard lately on our upcoming look book for Spring 2012. It all sort of came together a couple weeks ago, once my buddy Michael agreed to do the photography. Last week we did an initial shoot on North Williams and then on Sunday we hauled a bunch of furniture, clothes and other accessories to the top of Powell Butte and did another.





Since we shot everything on film, I still haven't seen the photos but I did shoot some 'Behind the Scene' ones on my phone. It was super windy but the sun was out and our models were great putting up with chilly weather in their little sun dresses and short sleeved shirts.

I may show a few photos here in the next couple weeks and then the look book will debut in its entirety at the end of February. It will also coincide with re-opening our etsy shop and I'll bring some Spring items into the shop that week too.

A Day for Love

We're having lots of fun doing photo shoots for our upcoming Spring Look Book. We took these ones for Valentine's day because I just couldn't wait to start sharing them. There are a lot of great Valentine's items in the shop right now. This red wool 1960's coat, heart hair pins and headbands from Giant Dwarf and a gorgeous collection of necklaces from Simply by Bluebird. Single or taken, I've always loved Valentine's day and decorating the shop for February 14th is one of my favorite things to do!

The talented Michael Harper is taking all these photos with good, old fashioned FILM. We've got another photo shoot coming up this weekend, which is going to be awesome and our look book will debut sometime towards the end of February.

Bin Sale Recap

We had such a fantastic weekend! Both Saturday and Sunday were really busy, in fact I had to make a quick road trip yesterday to buy some new inventory for this coming weekend.

Thanks so much to those of you who showed up for the bin sale on Sunday. It was a great success and I think we're planning on keeping some of the bins through this weekend too. If you weren't able to make it, there are still plenty of good deals to be had!

If you stopped by on the first part of the day, you probably saw Dan serving up champagne from the trailer. Erin and I really love doing the Sunday morning champagne/mimosa thing so we'll see if we can incorporate more of those this Spring!

I must say, when I decided to open up Wanderlust I never really thought of myself as an Entrepreneur, so I feel honored to be acknowledged as such.
